"PAST-SCRIPT" explores the enduring mystery surrounding a set of artefacts discovered in 1894 in the Serra do Alvão by priests José Brenha and Rafael Rodrigues. Motivated by local legends, the priests excavated ancient dolmens in search of treasures and uncovered a remarkable collection of stones and war objects engraved with anthropomorphic figures and symbols. Their findings gave rise to the intriguing theory that these engravings might represent one of the earliest forms of alphabetic writing in the world.
